Metal tensioner for beekeeping wire in the frames has gears on the ends, which, by moving along the wire, cause it to be taut by making it wavy. That is why the tensioner of the beekeeping wire is sometimes called a “corrugator”. Bending and thus tension can be regulated by clamping force. It is important to hold the turnbuckle perpendicular to the frame so that the bends of the wire do not form at an angle (the bends must be parallel to the frame), otherwise they will dig into the bulkhead, or they can also protrude. An irreplaceable helper before sealing the partitions, the wire fixed in this way then holds the partition better and the virgin combs do not tear when turning.
